Job Opportunity - General Cardiologist - Arizona
Start Date: Not specified
Location: Verde Valley, Arizona
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Housing/Travel: Lodging recommendations available; to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch); overtime available after scheduled shift
Highlights:
- Ongoing general cardiology coverage in a Cardiovascular Institute setting serving an active senior patient population
- Outpatient clinic volume of 18-24 patients per day with catheterization procedures for established patients
- Comprehensive support team including medical assistants, nurses, and physician assistant support
- EMR: Cerner with remote orientation provided prior to start date
- Collaborative practice with 2 physicians currently in the group
- Standard credentialing timeframe of approximately 30 days
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Cardiology
- Active Arizona medical license or IMLC Letter of Qualification
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of cardiology experience
- Strong interpersonal and relational skills with patients and staff
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Recent case logs demonstrating consistent clinical activity
