Job Opportunity - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Virginia

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week or three 12-hour shifts with one rotating Saturday per month; no call required
Highlights:
- Work within a Level 1 trauma center alongside a robust anesthesia team of 60 CRNAs, 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 anesthesia residents
- Practice across diverse settings including 33 main operating rooms, 12 outpatient surgery ORs, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, and 3-4 standalone GI procedure rooms
- Full scope CRNA practice excluding open heart/thoracic, pediatrics, obstetrics, and peripheral nerve blocks
- Epic EMR system in a 600-bed hospital environment
- 13-week contract with potential for extension; weekly availability required with all time-off requests submitted upfront
- Patient population ranges from adolescents through end-of-life care
Requirements:
- Active Virginia CRNA license and board certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience; academic background and Level 1 or 2 trauma experience strongly preferred
- Recent inpatient experience preferred; outpatient-only candidates considered
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (no exemptions)
- Must reside at least 50 miles from facility location
- Minimum 30-day credentialing timeframe
